James O’Sullivan is a native of Sneem on the Ring of Kerry. James was educated at Colaiste Isogain in the Ballyvourney Gaeltacht in West Cork. He spent 10 years in the US before returning to Ireland to pursue a law degree while working full time in Cork City. He graduated with a BCL Honours Degree from UCC in 2001. In 2005, while attending the solicitors' professional course at Blackhall Place, Dublin, Jim won the Law Society's Annual Negotiation Competition and went on to represent Ireland in the International Negotiation Competition which included teams from Australia, South Korea, Singapore, USA, Puerto Rico,the UK and Europe where he finished fourth. James qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and worked in Killarney. He opened his own practice in Sneem in 2010. His office is located in the South Square overlooking the village green.
James is involved in many local clubs and groups and is currently Chairman of Sneem GAA Club. He is also a member of Parknasilla Golf Club having been Captain in 2002. He is also involved in the local Development Co-operative and Business Association. As a native of Sneem and South Kerry James has an intimate knowledge of the area. James brings his years of experience and local knowledge to his practice.
